Abbey Road Studios 50th Anniversary “Abbey Road” Release Party

[26-Sep-2019 Abbey Road Studios, Westminster, UK ]

Time for something crazy. Went to London to attend a two hour event. Okay, it was in Abbey Road Studios to listen to The Beatles’ Abbey Road album – with wine and food on @6th of September, one day before the international release of the remastered album (vinyl records and CDs). Thanks to Hilton Honors for throwing this gala event. It was inside Abbey Road Studios. No pictures in the hallways! But we were allowed to take pictures in the mythic Studio 2 – where The Beatles recorded about 90% of all of their songs.

so I took a ton of pictures. Oh, and I thought I was crazy. No. I met Jane at the studios – she came in from Siberia – traveling 4 days on the trans-Siberian railroad to Moscow, then flew in from there just to be at Abbey Road one day on the 26th of September! Now, that is insane dedication to The Beatles!

After the Abbey Road experience, I heard Paul and Ringo were going to show up so I stayed a bit. A “bit” equals over 5 hours! Got pictures of Peter Jackson (director of “The Lord of The Rings, etc), and then Ringo and then Paul!

Theatrical release of “All Your Base: Last Of Last” in Los Angeles

[25-July through 01-August, 2019, Los Angeles, CA USA]

This is the second time I flew in to Los Angeles in one month! This time, it was to go to the theatrical release of my short film, All Your Base: Last Of Last (AllYourBaseLOL.com).

All Your Base: Last Of Last has been in eight film festivals; but this is the official theatrical release of the short film at the Laemmle NoHo7 in Los Angeles, CA. How cool is that. Oh, not to mention, the film was uploaded to YouTube, so please go take a look: All Your Base LOL on Youtube.

Here are the pictures from the event, including a few pictures from the Kimpton Everly Hotel. Click the picture or link below for more…

David Duchovny Event Dec 8 and 9 2018 Studio Recording, Lunch, Rehearsal, Performance

08-Dec-2018 to 09-Dec-2018 Nashville, TN, US

As you all know, I recently won the Hilton Honors/Live Nation auction for the recording session, lunch, rehearsal and performance of David Duchovny and his band. I arrived on Thursday and checked into the Hilton Nashville Downtown. Later that day, I went out onto Broadway and checked out various bars and restaurants up and down the road.

Friday was an early start. I went to Blackbird Studio to meet up with the Hilton Honors and Live Nation crew. There were five of us that were the winners of the auction. We got wired up with mics and got set to be videotaped for the whole day with David Duchovny. As soon as I get the video, I will share it with all of you here.

First, we were greeted by the band (they are totally friendly and cool), then by David. Next, we went into the recording studio where we all enjoyed a great moment watching him recording a single. Next, we had catered lunch and the five of us chatted with David Duchovny. He was really cool. After lunch, the five winners from Hilton Honors got interviewed for the video. Finally that day, we went over to the performance venue and watched David and his band rehearse.

The following day, we went to the performance along with a sold-out crowd at the Analog Room in the Hutton Hotel, a few minutes away by car from the Hilton Hotel. 🙂 Here are a bunch of pics from the weekend experience (click on the pictures or in the link below to see more):

Alien Con Baltimore Nov 09-11 2018

[November 09 through 11, 2018 Baltimore, MD, US]

Alien-Con. Had to get a picture with the quintessential live meme, Giorgio Tsoukalos, in person. I have succeeded in my mission. Everything else was just extras. I actually only went to the special panel for premium pass holders (was not worth it at all, the producer of the show yakked over half the time) and went to see Clara Oswald (Doctor Who) played by Jenna Coleman.

Dear Alien Con staff: “We didn’t pay extra to here some fat ass producer that no one knows about, to sit in the middle of the panel an usurp the show. We wanted to hear all of the “in front of camera” people, not for the “below the line” people. Got it? I am below the line myself and I don’t sit on panels where the actors and actresses are! Get a hint, it’s not about you, it’s about the celebrities in front of the camera! People left. Mad. Very mad! And – one woman was screaming at staff after the joke of a special for what a rip-off that ‘extra’ pass was. Please don’t do that again. Dear attendees – if you are going to LA (or Baltimore again next year), just get the normal passes! You would be way happier! And you get the same info and panelists throughout the event. No need to pay ridiculous prices to see a fat ass producer talk over the celebrities. Okay, end of rant.

So, other than paying too much, the rest of the event was great 🙂 Click on the pic or link below to see the pics:
