Endless Night 2019 at New Orleans House of Blues

[25-27 October, 2019, New Orleans, LA, US]

The Vampire Ball at the House of Blues thrown by the Endless Night krewe has come to another end in New Orleans. This is my fourth Endless Night in New Orleans (one in New York). I usually go for the Friday and Saturday night events and fly back on Sunday; however, I decided to do the Sunday night dinner and the gathering. Sunday was more conducive to talking with people as the music wasn’t blaring at maximum 🙂 Plus the food was great at the House of Blues New Orleans. I forgot to take pictures of the food – sorry about that…

So here are the pictures, click on the pic below or on the link:

Abbey Road Studios 50th Anniversary “Abbey Road” Release Party

[26-Sep-2019 Abbey Road Studios, Westminster, UK ]

Time for something crazy. Went to London to attend a two hour event. Okay, it was in Abbey Road Studios to listen to The Beatles’ Abbey Road album – with wine and food on @6th of September, one day before the international release of the remastered album (vinyl records and CDs). Thanks to Hilton Honors for throwing this gala event. It was inside Abbey Road Studios. No pictures in the hallways! But we were allowed to take pictures in the mythic Studio 2 – where The Beatles recorded about 90% of all of their songs.

so I took a ton of pictures. Oh, and I thought I was crazy. No. I met Jane at the studios – she came in from Siberia – traveling 4 days on the trans-Siberian railroad to Moscow, then flew in from there just to be at Abbey Road one day on the 26th of September! Now, that is insane dedication to The Beatles!

After the Abbey Road experience, I heard Paul and Ringo were going to show up so I stayed a bit. A “bit” equals over 5 hours! Got pictures of Peter Jackson (director of “The Lord of The Rings, etc), and then Ringo and then Paul!

So, please go see all of the pictures! The images chronicles the whole trip from the plane, hotel, visiting Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross to the whole Abbey Road experience. Click on the picture below or on the link to see them all!

Theatrical release of “All Your Base: Last Of Last” in Los Angeles

[25-July through 01-August, 2019, Los Angeles, CA USA]

This is the second time I flew in to Los Angeles in one month! This time, it was to go to the theatrical release of my short film, All Your Base: Last Of Last (AllYourBaseLOL.com).

All Your Base: Last Of Last has been in eight film festivals; but this is the official theatrical release of the short film at the Laemmle NoHo7 in Los Angeles, CA. How cool is that. Oh, not to mention, the film was uploaded to YouTube, so please go take a look: All Your Base LOL on Youtube.

Here are the pictures from the event, including a few pictures from the Kimpton Everly Hotel. Click the picture or link below for more…

Los Angeles – Shout Factory, John Wells Productions, and Warner Brothers

[10-14 July 2019, Los Angeles, CA USA]

It’s July already. Went to Los Angeles, CA. Of course, I brushed up my materials for my scifi adventure story (invasion6.com) and brought along my newly published graphic novel, aptly name “Invasion 6”, available at MyComicShop.com. I had two appointments, arranged through a charity auction site. I met with Garrison Foos, the CEO of Shout Factory, and Joy Daffern, SVP of Operations at John Wells Productions.

Met Joy Daffern at the Warner’s lot executive cafe. That was neat. It was harder to get into the Warner Brother’s lot than it is to get into a government building! Okay, no, just kidding. We had a great lunch. It was fun. The following day, met with Garson at a local restaurant and that was a great lunch too. Both of them were very nnice and very personable. It was truly a fun time. Joy went out of her way to arrange for a Warner Brthers tour for me on Saturday. That was awesome of her and the tour was very interesting! Here are the pictures, just click on the pic or the link below:

(P.S. Once on the lot itself, all those trees you see in the pictures are all fake. Yep, all plastic. Looks real though, doesn’t it?)

Curaçao 23-27 May 2019

[23-27 May 2019, Curaçao]

So, from Amsterdam in Europe to the islands in the Caribbean in May. Curacao, that is. Stayed at the Hilton – but it’s no longer a Hilton, it was sold off and it’s going to be an all-inclusive resort under another brand name.

The cool thing was that the American Airlines crew stayed at the hotel, so I bumped in to the pilots and the cabin crew. At night, the cabin crew bought me a drink 🙂 That was nice of them!

Met a bunch of other vacationers and we all hung around in the resort – okay, we were at the bar a lot 🙂 Click on the picture or the link below it to see all pictures:
